New Adult Class

A Study of the Minor Prophets: The idea of prophecy congers up images of fortune telling, soothsaying, predicting the future, and the occult. Historically, prophets have been treated as anything from quirky, to crazy, to heretics. We usually think of the Old Testament Major prophets of Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel as the prophetic sources predicting the coming of Christ and the   establishment of God’s Kingdom. But wait, there’s more… Tucked away at the very end of both the Christian Old Testament and the Jewish Bible, there are twelve short books of prophecy dubbed the Minor Prophets. Their     message is as compelling as those of the Major Prophets. They provide the Last Word on the end of an old age and the hope for the beginning of a new age. Beginning April 29th, George Ritter will be leading a study on the Minor Prophets and the message they proclaim. This will last 5-6 weeks, depending on progress. Join us for this study of prophecy that paralleled the major prophets and how they herald the promise of God’s grace and salvation for an age yet to come.
