School Year Sunday School

Classes are available for preschool through 5th grade. We use the “Hand On Bible” curriculum. Our classes meet in the following locations:

Preschool – Room 3
K&1 – Room 4
2&3 – Room 6
4&5 – Room 7

Childcare

Infant thru ages 5 (not yet in kindergarten)

Our Nursery is staffed from 9:00 am until 12:15 pm each Sunday morning.

Infants are welcome in the Nursery (infant - age 2) during the 9:00 am Worship Service, the 10:00 am Education Hour and the 11:00 am Worship Service.

Pre-schoolers are welcome in Room 2 after the Children's Sermon in the 9:00 am and 11:00 am Worship Services. Pre-Schoolers will be dismissed from the Sanctuary following the Children's Sermon; an adult volunteer will accompany the children to Room 2 on the Lower Level of the Church. Pre-schoolers are encouraged to attend their own Sunday School Class held in Room 3 during the 10:00 am Education Hour.

Mifflin staff and a minimum of two adult Church members provide Mifflin's Childcare at all times. Mifflin Nursery Assistants may also assist in staffing the Nursery. Mifflin Nursery Assistants are teen-aged members who have completed a safe babysitting course as well as the required Mifflin Nursery Orientation. Silent pagers are available to parents of infants on a first-come, first-served basis.

Worship Folders

Worship folders are available in the Narthex and at the side entrance of the sanctuary. Worship Packets include Biblical worksheets, coloring pages and other materials for quiet activity. Please return "used" Worship Folders to the bin in the Narthex after the service.

Vacation Bible School - July 7 – 11, 2008. Our VBS runs from 9AM – Noon for those students who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade. A special pre-school program will also be available this year. Contact the Director of Christian Education for details on the pre-school program.
