Adult Sunday School Classes

Men’s Bible Study – This group meets at 7:45 am in Room 10 each Sunday morning and discusses various topics of specific interest to men and their Christian life.

The Class in Room 5 – Join other adults in Room 5 for short-term classes on a variety of topics. Topics may include parenting, finance, video-series, and seasonal topics. Contact the Church office for the current class offering. Coming in the Fall of 2011: Homegrown Parenting and the Prayers of Jesus.

Christian Worldview – This class uses curriculum to supplement discussions on applying your Christian faith to the world around you. Recent curriculums have been: The Faith, 24 Hours that Changed the World, and Thinking Like A Christian.

Becoming the Church – Join Pastor Peter in the Fireplace Room for the opportunity to learn more about Mifflin Presbyterian Church, the Presbyterian Church USA and the larger body of Christ. This class is essential for new members of the congregation; visitors and members are welcome to attend. Contact the Church office for specific dates of this class.

Weekday Opportunities

Monday

Quilting Bee-lievers – Our own quilting group meets at 7:00 pm on the fourth Monday of each month. Bring your sewing machine and supplies and join in on the current project or work on your own quilt while fellowshipping with others.

Women’s Book Group – Join other women in reading a different book each month. This group meets on the 4th Monday of the month at 7:00 pm.

Women’s Accountability Group – Meets at 7:00 pm in the Cornerstone Room during the school year. Join with other women in reading scripture and gathering together for weekly check-in and discussion.

Tuesday

Mary Martha Circle – This Women's Bible study meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 10:00 am in Room 8 on the Lower Level of the Church.

Mom’s Bible Study – This group welcomes moms of all aged children and meets at 7:00 pm at Panera on Hamilton on the 1st and Third Tuesdays of each month.
