Temporary Nursery Attendant Position
We are accepting applications for a temporary position in the nursery. Approximate dates are January through March 2010. Must complete background check, fingerprinting, Mifflin’s children & youth worker safety training, and CPR certification. Hours are 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM every Sunday. We have matched around 40 children, but there are 19 that still need sponsors. If you are able to sponsor a child or know of a friend or co-worker who would like to be a sponsor, please fill out one of the forms in the Gathering Area or contact Linda Delano or Suzanne Amos. Thank you!

The LOGOS Program Needs Your Help!
We need 3 people to help wash dishes. This is a once a month volunteer opportunity 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM. We need 1 person for the 2nd Wednesday of each month and 2 people for the 3rd Wednesday. Please contact Daphne Yost at dyost@mifflinpres.org.

Adult Sunday School Opportunities at 10:00 AM
Join Erin Roesky in Room 5 for thought-provoking Nooma videos and discussion or join Rich Delano in Room 10 for Foundations: An Overview of Systematic Theology by RC Sproul. All adults are welcome to join these classes at anytime.

Reminder for Children: Elementary Students and Younger
As school-age children, you will remain in worship with your family and friends following the Children’s Sermon. Don’t forget to pick up a Children’s Bulletin or Worship Folder for your use during the service. Our nursery is available only to infants and preschoolers; older siblings of these children are expected to remain in worship. Thank you. |

Exercise and Fellowship
Need to be able to say you’ve exercised at least twice a week? Come join the Mifflin Walkers Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:00 AM for devotions, walking and loads of laughs. Outside trips are also planned to various interesting and fun places throughout the year. Be part of this Mifflin group—you’ll be glad you did!

Got Yarn?
Contributions of yarn (small amounts or whole skeins) for a member of Mifflin who knits scarves for the homeless are welcomed. Please put any donations in the box marked YARN in the Gathering Area. Thank you.

Loose Offering
Did you know that the loose offering from the 1st Sunday of each month goes to the Deacons? This goes toward various hospitality projects they sponsor such as luncheons, the annual picnic, hospitality for Holiday Lights Parade, advertising, donuts each Sunday, etc. Please help support the Deacons’ mission by putting your loose change in the offering plate.

Children’s Worship Folders
Children are welcome to use the worship folders found inside the west sanctuary door and in the narthex. Worship folders include biblically based coloring and puzzle pages, and crayons. You may take with you all sheets or coloring pages that you have used. Please return the plastic folder and crayon pouch to the bins where you found them.

Take a moment to stop by our library this Advent Season. We are filled with books, CDs and videos focusing on the true meaning of the Season.
